Background
Christian Peterson is an engineer by training, became a journalist and a corporate communicator by desire.
Over the years, Christian has worked for ABC Radio, as a science and technology journalist.
His journalistic assignments have taken him to Antarctica, to the mountainous seas of the Southern Ocean and to all corners of Australia, from deserts to gold fields, and from coral reefs to mountain ranges.
For many years Christian broadcast his experiences on the road on ABC Radio, 24 times each week and Radio National’s The Science Show, produced and presented a two hour daily program and specialist’s documentaries.
With CSIRO, he was one of the CEO’s media officer and speechwriter.
As a professional corporate communicator, Christian helped Telstra manage the public profile of one of Australia’s most important defence projects and assisted with major defence contract bids.
Recent major communication projects have included Yallourn Energy’s modernisation program, the Royal Freemasons Homes of Victoria, Netherlands Retirement Village, Illawarra Retirement Trust, San Carlo, Yarra West Aged Care and other leading organizations, which are under confidentiality agreements.
